Hamner Springs is more than a Thermal Pool and spa destination, there are so many activities that can be added onto this day out! Have a look at what we have to offer. Surrounded by magnificent mountains and forests, you will find that Hanmer Spring’s main street is filled with boutique shops, local cafes, and eateries. Depending what season, you decide to visit, you will either be greeted with a wonderland of snow covered Alpine Lodges or trees bursting with cooper colouring in Autumn.

You will be driven in comfort in our modern, comfortable Mercedes Sprinter or Similar vehicle packed with extras, just to make your journey that bit easier. Led by our fun and knowledgeable and passionate tour guides, this journey will come to life in a new way for you.

Itinerary:
Christchurch – We start by leaving the Garden City/Christchurch and heading towards our destination, while our knowledgeable driver points out some of the Garden City’s highlights.
Hanmer Springs – As we continue, we make our way to Hanmer Spring, you will be welcomed by a little resort town which has been compared to the Canadian Rockies, with its surrounding pine trees and mountain peaks. You will be left to explore but if you have chosen one of our addons our guide will get you there. You will have the opportunity for lunch before collected to head back towards the city.
Waipara (45min) – This journey can’t end without a little bit of… WINE. While passing through beautiful, lush green countryside, vineyards, and farms! The Waipara region is one of New Zealand’s premier wine regions and one of our stops – Here you will have the opportunity to taste a selection of wine from a locally owned and operated vineyard before we head towards Christchurch. Don’t worry if wine isn’t your thing, you can substitute wine for beer!
Christchurch –You will head back with a new found love! We then make our way to the Garden city so you can sit back and relax after a wonderful day. With your camera roll full! This day will definitely be something to brag about.
