Private - Wanaka & Otago Photography Tour (3 days)

It’s well known that the small alpine village of Wanaka is handily placed to some of the most stunning photographic opportunities in New Zealand. Our 3-day bespoke tour based here is designed to pack in as much Central Otago photography from dawn to dusk in this landscape. With 4WD vehicles, we will have access to many places in Central Otago that are off the beaten track and get a chance to photograph iconic Central Otago landscapes. We also have the option here to add on an early morning helicopter flight to a number of viewpoints overlooking the lake or Mt Aspiring National Park.
This 3-day private Wanaka/Central Otago tour allows for a flexible itinerary, and our experienced local guide will take you to the best locations based on the weather, the time of the year and your photographic objectives. No matter what level you are working at with your photography our bespoke tours can take you The tour price is for 1 or 2 peoples based on a twin share/double room at the Edgewater.
This private tour is priced at $5500 for 1 person, or $2900 per person for 2 - 8 people.
ITINERARY

Day 1
You have the option of meeting us in Wanaka this morning, or an early pickup from Queenstown Airport, with travel to Wanaka included in the workshop. After assembling at our accommodation, we will head out to explore nearby locations. There will be plenty of time to cover settings for advancing you landscape photography, before heading out for an evening shoot to one of the finest panoramas of Lake Wanaka.
Day 2
An early morning start sees is 4WDing over a high pass and into one of the best river valley’s in Central Otago. In the afternoon we’ll head around to another high landscape before returning to our accommodation later in the evening. The walking is easy on this day allowing us to take the time to explore the photographic opportunities in this area.
Day 3
We’ll head through to the Maniatoto and spend all day exploring this unique part of New Zealand. This elemental landscape offers much for the eye and there are limitless ways to explore it photographically. The day will finish with return transport back to Queenstown Airport or to your next connection in Queenstown.

Overalls

You will also be supplied with protective overalls and a battle pack incorporating valuables pouch and capacity for a further 300 rounds of ammunition.

Free Gas

High pressure CO2 cylinder 20oz of pressurised liquid propellant.

Paint Grenade*

High explosive paint filled device. Do not store in pocket**

Smoke Bomb*

Produces thick white or coloured smoke screen. Burns for approx.1 minute.**
