Tours Auckland

Depart Auckland city in the afternoon with your local guide, and travel west in an air-conditioned van out to the Waitakere Ranges Regional Park.

Your first stop will be at Rose Hellaby House, an historic property allowing incredible views from the high ranges back across Auckland to the city. You will be able to see both harbours, as well as other landmarks, and learn the history behind this beautiful spot.

Next, travel onwards to iconic Piha Beach, known for its volcanic black sand, rock formations, and wild waves. Spot some surfers, walk on the sand, and dip your feet in the Tasman Sea (if you dare!).

Your last stop will be over the hill to Karekare Falls, a picturesque waterfall reached by a short walk through the native rainforest. Learn about New Zealand's unique plants from your guide, see our national emblem the silver fern, and keep your eyes open for native birds such as tui, piwakawaka/fantails, and kereru/wood pigeons.

After some time spent taking photos and enjoying the falls, you will return to the central city to be dropped at your hotel, cruise port, or another point of your choice such as the Sky Tower or waterfront, just in time for dinner.
