MacKenzie Country Photography Weekend Workshop - Omarama
Get ready for a weekend of immersive photography led by Glen Howey in the stunning MacKenzie Country renowned for its stunning natural beauty coupled with grand theatrical views and intimate lakes that complement and enhance the region's allure.
This workshop is designed to teach techniques for capturing wide vistas, use of low light, using the unique texture and color palette of the region and winter weather conditions to create stunning images.
We look at the juxtaposition of man-made structures such as the distinctive powerlines, winding roads and the elements of natural beauty intrinsic to the Mackenzie Country’s landscapes, which include the iconic Lindis Pass, Ahuriri River, textured tussock grasslands and rolling hills, the Southern Alps and the expansive skies that offer unique photographic opportunities.

Face Mask
Scott Extreme Safety System. Specifically designed for high speed projectiles
Overalls
You will also be supplied with protective overalls and a battle pack incorporating valuables pouch and capacity for a further 300 rounds of ammunition.
Hopper
Holds up to 200 rounds. Gravity feed.
Free Gas
High pressure CO2 cylinder 20oz of pressurised liquid propellant.
Paint Grenade*
High explosive paint filled device. Do not store in pocket**
Smoke Bomb*
Produces thick white or coloured smoke screen. Burns for approx.1 minute.**
