Come join us on a one of a kind art adventure in the stunning glacier formed landscape of Queenstown, New Zealand and immerse yourself in the South Island beauty, with your own personal tutor and guide. With all your painting materials provided and yours to keep, this full day tour takes us through mountain vistas, teal green rivers and deep forests. This tour is a treat for the senses and inspiration for your creative soul.
Artist Raquel Carter, an experienced art teacher, will take you on a guided tour that will embrace the art of 'plein air' painting : which literally means : out in the open air.


With a fully guided personal Art experience outdoors. Bringing our easels and art materials with us, we discuss, observe and discover connection to nature through sketching, Acrylic painting and photography. So please bring your camera. This adventure is for all levels and includes just a small amount of walking.
We will be visiting several inspiring locations, before we set up for a painting session for a longer stretch. Here your tutor will provide guidance and assistance to get you started on your own creations, regardless of your artistic experience. We will provide you with artistic tips and techniques, so you are able to create a piece of work on the day and continue sketching long after the excursion ends.
Along with a boutique picnic lunch and refreshments provided on location, this is a relaxing way to record simply and spontaneously your impressions of what you see on your Queenstown holiday. An incredible day out, full of opportunity to be reconnected with your creative self, inspired by nature, creating memories to take home with you. We also provide packaging to take your painting with you.
