Sailing Whitianga

Our morning trip departs Buffalo Beach at 9:30am returning at 12:30pm.
Plan to sail around the beautiful coastline on our spacious catamaran 'Fully Charged'. Visit local iconic locations, including the world famous Cathedral Cove. Once we set anchor relax on the boat, or have a swim or snorkel in the marine reserve with the amazing fish life. Every trip is different. Help to sail or sit back on our comfy beanbags, soak up the scenery and relax.

The trip includes freshly brewed coffee, chilled organic juice and a freshly baked snack.

Our 2 hour private charter sunset trip departs Buffalo Beach 6pm, returning by 8pm. The perfect way to end a day in Whitianga. A relaxing sail in the evening breeze going where the wind takes us. Sail the boat or relax on the comfortable trampoline decks on a beanbag. Watch the sun go down and the moon come up. Trip includes a local brewery beer and some local smoked seafood snacks.

Book the whole boat to yourself! Our 4 hour charter is popular with families of young children or groups wanting to celebrate in style. Our spacious yacht and awesome crew will leave you with memories to last a lifetime.


Kick back and relax on our comfy bean-bags or get hands-on and help sail the boat. Swim or snorkel in the marine reserve, and cruise past breath-taking scenery such as Cathedral Cove and Lonely Bay. Throw a fishing lure off the back while we sail.

All Private Charters are inclusive of drinks and snacks. Trip Duration is approx 4 hours. 50% deposit required to secure booking. Our trips usually depart from Flaxmill Bay, a sheltered bay nestled between Cooks Beach and Ferry Landing.

Our 6 hour charter provides more time to sail, swim, snorkel and explore. A perfect trip for groups wanting to escape the crowds and enjoy a relaxed day on the water.
Design your perfect day on the water. Soak up the scenery as we sail past rugged coastline and white, sandy beaches. Cool off with a swim, or snorkel in the marine reserve. Unwind with a refreshing beverage and some local delicacies, while the kids dive off our inflatable swim platform. This charter leaves plenty of time to experience the best of what the Coromandel can offer.

This trip provides the most choice in where you go and what you do. Sail the day away and hone your sailing skills while at the helm. We can anchor at a remote beach where you can swim, picnic and sunbathe. Get to shore and explore the picturesque coastline with a scenic walk. Let the kids cool off by jumping off our inflatable swim platform, while the adults relax onboard with a refreshing beverage and platter. Catch a fish for tea with some hand-line fishing while under sail. Whatever you choose, there is plenty to keep you entertained before sailing home at the end of the day.
