Poor Knights Day Trip

The Poor Knights Islands Marine Reserve, located approximately 1 hour off the coast of New Zealand are renowned for their stunning marine life and beautiful clear water. And you can see it all with a day trip from Tutukaka.
You'll get to experience two dives in an environment that will take your breath away. But if you think that's all there is to do, think again!
A day trip to the Poor Knights Islands is a great way to spend a hard earned day off. We head out every day that we can for two dives (or snorkel if you would prefer) normally at two different sites unless the first site is worth a second visit.
Don't forget about the tour around the islands which we do during your surface interval between the two dives where you can see the largest sea cave in the southern hemisphere and so much more.
And when you're done with all that? Sit back, relax and enjoy a day out on the water with friends, family or even just on your own.
Our passionate crew will look after you no matter what level of diver you are. Or if you've never tried diving before then book on for a Try Dive and give it a go. We provide rental gear for those who need it, wetsuits and hot showers so that you can stay warm during and after your dives.

Poor Knights Day Trip 3 Dives

Our special 3 dive days allow you to experience not 1, not 2 but 3 dives out at the Poor Knights Islands. This means that during the darker months you'll end up doing a dusk/night dive as your third dive.

Paint Grenade*
High explosive paint filled device. Do not store in pocket**
Smoke Bomb*
