Itinerary:
Christchurch – We begin our adventure by leaving the Garden City and heading north. Along the way, your friendly driver will point out some of Christchurch’s highlights.
Cheviot (15 min) – Our first stop will be in the quaint town of Cheviot, nestled along one of New Zealand’s largest coastal routes. Take a break to stretch your legs before we continue through the picturesque Hundalee Hills. Keep an eye out for surfers and wildlife – you may even spot seals! The views are truly stunning.
Kaikoura – Once we reach Kaikoura, you'll have time to enjoy a delicious lunch before diving into the adventure. Kaikoura is one of the world’s best spots to encounter playful dolphins. These cheeky creatures love attention, and you’ll be able to experience their antics firsthand! Afterward, our driver will pick you up from the reception and return you to Christchurch.
If Time Allows: Waipara – If we have some extra time, we’ll stop in the Waipara wine region. As we drive through lush green vineyards, you’ll have the opportunity to taste wines from a local vineyard (or enjoy a cold beer instead if that’s more your style!).
Christchurch – After a day packed with unforgettable sights, experiences, and a camera full of photos, you’ll sit back, relax, and enjoy the journey back to the Garden City.
Please note that additional stops will be made for toilet breaks. This tour is focused on the Dolphin Encounter, so there will be no time for local walks or shopping.
